Staff Sergeant Stanley H. Morse was born on June 11, 1921, in Burlington, Vermont, Morse enlisted in the Army on December 9, 1942, after working at Marlin Rockwell in Jamestown, New York. He was posthumously awarded the Air Medal with three Oak Leaf Clusters and the Purple Heart in recognition of his bravery and sacrifice.
Morse is commemorated at the Ardennes American Cemetery and Memorial in Neuville-en-Condroz, Belgium, where he rests in Plot B, Row 32, Grave 11.
