Harold E. Sutherland

About

Harold Ernest Sutherland, born on March 13, 1924, was a co-pilot in the U.S. Army Air Forces and part of the crew on the B-24J Liberator #42-51541. On September 27, 1944, his plane crashed near Frieilos, Germany, resulting in the loss of about half the crew. Lt. Sutherland is honored and remembered at the Lorraine American Cemetery and Memorial in St. Avold, France.
